Being a photographer has allowed me to meet many beautiful families and to travel to parts of the world that I never would usually get the chance to – both here in South Australia, and interstate and overseas too. Photographing newborns is something I love to do, especially when I get to do so more than once for the same family.

When this gorgeous family had little Elke, my Mum and I took a road trip to their property, nearly 4 hours away from Adelaide. It was a hoot: quality time with my Mum AND the chance to photograph these guys, who I have photographed as newborns before little Elke was born. It’s a real privilege to be able to do that, I think.
